Quake 3 test in January?

Just read on sCary's that there will be a Q3 test release within a month. Paul Steed reportedly said this when questioned about the game in a recent interview:

"...I would hazard a guess, like, the way things are, about another month or so..."

It's funny that no other games companies to test releases like that, tho.. It's probably the cheapest and easiest way of bugbashing ever discovered! ^_^

Am I really the only person in the world who genuinely likes Win98 and has never had a problem with it? I've used it since the Beta2 version, and I've never had to reinstall - unlike 95 which I reinstalled about once a month!

Nope. I backedup the disk. Formatted it and installed 98 completely.

I have to say I like it. Even now I'm on a 95 machine in scotland and it seems old...

plus I had a few ppl try and nuke me and they couldnt. Not even teardrop or any other form...
