Theres a flock of starlings that visit my back garden everyday. Sometimes one of more or them will lie on the grass with a wing outstretched like they're injured. Sometimes they'll stretch both wings out like they're sunbathing. Is this anti-predatory behaviour or something else? Its very strange.

Check out the "Sunning" paragraph :)

U shud be proud ur garden is so attractive to birdies :0) :)

Might be worth your while though, putting a large basin of water
out there (preferably with a brick in the center) or if you have a bird table, to help them cool down properly. :)
