Summer food

So...anyone got any decent summer recipes ???

The reason I'm asking is that my own repetoire is a bit weak in this area (cause I hate rice salads and pasta salads for a start), and I'm suffering through a damned heat-wave at the moment so I'm rapidly running out of interesting food to make.

Oh - BBQ recipes are also needed....

    Ta.

i always find fish rocks when its hot.
like a nice prawn cocktail to start.

And maybe oysters or mussels, plenty of recipes in the net, but seafood on a salad bed is generally good, cold crab meat mixed with thousand island sauce.... mmmm.

    Gin plus tonic

Slice of lemon and some ice if you're feeling fancy

Buy some skewers and put all the meat and veg you like on them and bake them in the oven/pan or fry them on the BBQ.
