Who do u think will win the men's section of Wimbledon this year? Now with Hewitt and other top seeds such as Coria and Malisse out does this give Greg Rusedski and Tim Henman a better chance? Is Andy Roddick or Andre Agassi the tournament favourite?

I'd love to see Henman do it just to prove a Brit can actually win at SW19 but I voted for US SuperBrat Roddick.

As long as its not Henman, I dont really mind. Dont get me wrong, I've nothing against Henman, but I dont think I could handle having to hear the BBC go on and on about it for years to come.

With the loss of Hewitt in round one Wimbledon has really opened up which I am delighted about! It's grea to get some new blood into the game and hopefully it will make this years event more entertaining!

I voted "other" as I haven't really seen enough matches this year to judge on form. The spaniards genearlly don't feature as strongly on grass however I could be proved wrong!

I doubt Henman will win it as I don't think he copes well enough with pressure to progress any further than a semi final.

Its a shame that pistol pete isn't out there this year though. :(

Andy Roddick to win Wimbledon. He played great today against Rusedski and I think if he can maintain his form throughout then Roddick will be a hard man to beat.
Roddick/Federer and Agassi/Henman semi finals then Roddick/Agassi final thats how I see it but with tennis and especially wimbledon who knows!

I voted for Roddick cause its boring to have Pete or Agassi win all the time and plus I don't want to hear about henman for the next 50 odd years like the 1966 world cup. You would think they would drop it after about 10 years but NO!

Henman looked good today but I still only think he will make the semi final then lose to Andre Agassi but sayin that there is still some tough matches left in both halfs of the draw.
Top Half : Todd Martin, Jonas Bjorkman, Ivan karlovic, Rainer Schuettler
Bottom Half : Sebastian Grosjean, Karol Kucera, Mark Philippoussis.
All the players I just named are very capable of stunning a Henman or Agassi so who knows what the outcome will be it will be exciting thats for sure!

I'm of the total opposite view. I don't wanna see some jammy shmucks playing in the later rounds, I wanna see the heavyweights slugging it out, playing the best tennis possible.

I voted Roddick mainly 'cos of his serve, which is looking solid as hell.

Like the Irish would'nt go ape**** if a paddy won it ?
Hell RTE are still dining out on JFKs votes-getting visit here in 1963

Remember all the Michelle Smith hoopla until she got found out?

If Henmam wins it will be a sad day for tennis.Every year the Brits have the same crazy idea 'Tim is going to win this year'.I would like to see Andy Roddick or Andre Aggasi win there class acts

Well it wont be Agassi, Mark Philippoussis has just knocked him out. Pity really ,I thaught he could do it this year , especially after being 2-1 up.

    It finished 6-3 2-6 6-7 6-3 6-4

Aye, sad to see Agassi getting tired, seems like the beginning of the end for him :/

Roddick wont win either. Roger Federer has just beaten him in straight sets 7-6 6-3 6-3.

    Final: Philoppousis -v- Federer

    Who'll win???????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,538 ✭✭✭PiE

Poop. I wanted Roddick to win.

Don't like Phillipoussis at all, so I'll go with Federer.

Don't think anyone gives a sh!t about the other mens final.
