I just wanna know how many ppl here like System of a Down?

Coz i wana say dat System are the best damn band in the world, they rule

They f*cking rock!.. Well their 1st 2 albums did anyway.. the 3rd one disappointed me a bit.. the first time I listened to it - it felt like I had heard it all before..

my fav songs are chop suey, metro, snowblind, toxicity

I don't have the forst one, but have Toxicity and Steal This Album.

I thought Toxicity was great but I love STA. Maybe I just like the insane political rambling (e.g., "put your hands up get out of the car! put your hands up get out of the car"), but I actually prefer STA slightly. Plus, they have a song called AEAIAIO and the chorus sings A E A I, A I O. That is ****ign brilliant in my mind. I don't know whether they are taking the piss out of the entire music industry or what.

Excellent stuff and definitely my favourite band in years. Again, I think the guys voice is awesome, got a lot of character instead of just screaming, and the melodic flowing gypsy-style rhythms like on Ego Brain and Toxicity are just kick ass. Very fresh sound I think, but again, they have a great front man, which kicks them up a good few notches.

And I love the political/doomsayer-with-a-funny-outlook type of stuff (e.g., Mr. Jack).

actually STA is not that bad.. some good tracks.. but not as good as the 1st 2

That album is made up of outtakes form the previous two and other random stuff. So:

1. You have heard similar stuff on the first two.

and

2. The songs were left out for a reason

Anyway. You are all very right. System do rule. One of the best bands I've seen live. Ozzfest was pretty mental for them last year

I slept in and missed them at Reading a few years back, tho I didn't no much about them at that stage so I wasn't too worried at the time. I got home and heard a few tracks recorded at the show on BBC's Rock Show and they are fnukin class

A great band who'll hopefully be aroiund for a good while more.

Ye Have to Say they are probably my favourite I bought their first album when it came out and still cant put it down!

One of the few bands i really respect!!!

Yeah, I got all their albums, musicvids .etc. Really like them. Have ye heard the unreleased and unmastered yet? couple of cool tunes. 1st album is best imho.
Althought i wouldnt go so far as say the are the best band in the world ever.

I seem to be alone in my hate for them, their the most hypocritical pack of ar*e goblins this planet has seen, the music is so insanely samey its unreal, admittidly the first album had a few decent songs (sugar, metro, chop suey.) but apart from that it'll all tripe I think. Just my opinion tho, but when they go around going 'fúck the system' and then signing a multi million dollar deal with sony, it kind of just says 'we're all ar*e holes, wahoo for us!'.

Well you don't have to actually **** the system and blow things up. However, they do seem to have a sense of humour (e.g., Steal This Album) and I gladly pay to hear things that are new. Plus, they are from Ukraine or someplace. Support our future EU brethren, even if they have sold out and are living in mansions in south florida.

omg, **** the system means the government u moron and what the hell is wrong with sony anyway????? day dont have sweat shops of lil children being paid 10cent a hour in taiwan or anything?????? AND OMG sugar was the only song on their first album and rage against the machine rule too, so stop dissing dem;)

suggestions is fantastic aswell.....infact the whole damn album is great..

toxicity was good but not as good....
