One my my absolute favourite metal bands of all time - Amon Amarth are from sweden.. they KICK ass! seriously check them out.. I think dimmu borgir are from sweden too.. they are also cool

My favourite Swedish Metal bands would have to be In Flames, Arch Enemy, Opeth, Meshuggah, The Haunted, and At the Gates.

my favourite sweedish metal bands are Old mans Child and Hipocrosy.
Peter Tagtgren comes up with some pretty swell stuff. Think hes been producing albums lately, for bands like Dimmu Borgir, and the likes.

Probably the guts of 2 thirds of my playlist are swedish metal bands, the only place you can depend on for truely good metal most of the time.

Scandanavian bands on my playlist are:
In Flames
Dark Tranquility
Arch Enemy
Dimmu Borgir
Old Mans Child
(and i think Sentenced and Shadows Fall are from scandanavia somewhere?)

Really, I'm swedish but then again I don't listen to metal.

Any little metal wannabe that I have ever talked to I always ask them "What bands do you like?" and they ALWAYS say "Sum41,Slipknot,Korn and Busted" and I also ask them do they like meshuggah and they ****ing think because Jack Osbourne made the mistake of saying they are from Norway that they lil' s#ites think they are from Norway.
