    Hi,

i was looking at the daewoo 32" wide screen tele in dixons.
It has a flat screen, 50 mhz, etc, and was only 649.00
So I was wondering, whats the catch?

Anyone got any experience with this TV's?

    Would you reccomend them?

    X

I was told by the dude working in Currys that Daewoo's are made using outdated phiips technology.
I don't mean that in a bad way, I'm sure they date back a year or two only.
Reviews were damned scarce too..... I found a couple for smaller tv's, all were very positive.
At the end of the day though, I bought a philips! :)

The catch is it is a Daewoo

Check out the power switch at the front compare the quality on a philips or sony I work in the trade and we are always replacing buttons and any active components on the daewoos
not as they say built to last....
Though the tube is a philips as is the chassis so the picture quality is impressive....
There are plenty of deals out there on philips and sony 50Hz 32 widescreens at the moment check out DID or powercity
