Is anybody as tired as me at seeing this tool in the newspapers constantly calling the kettle black by talking hyporcritcal sh1te?If you have seen the papers this week you will have seen that he claimed the special olympic organisers are on an ego trip.
It just struck me as amazing that this pompous git didnt see the irony in what he was saying.The mans ego is only outsized by his obesity.Whoever the boards member was who called him a right wanker(search the archives newbies,tis great)deserves an all new pat on the back.I hope to god I get the same chance some day.
And oh how I laughed when he has regularly appeared in the papers in the last few months to ridicule the boy band that came runners up on the popstars show.Nobody buys tickets for his Girls Aloud tour.Who does he blame?He blames the inclusion of the boyband on the tour:D
Nothing to do with the fact that he is a crap manager of course.For every dazzling success such as Boyzone and Westlife he seems to have 3 times more one,two and zero hit wonders.Six,Bewitched,a few solo artists,and that boyband that had a succesful but very brief career in the mid 90s when Boyzone were still around.They had initials in their name IIRC.And these are only the ones I can remember.Think how many more there must be that disappeared off the radar.He gets occasionally lucky-IMO he couldnt sucessfully promote and manage a piss up in a brewery.

Personally I can't stand Louie Walse, he made his money by destroying the credabilty of the Irish music industry after bands like Thin Lizzy & U2 this country should be getting some respect as a musical nation, but with all his crap flooding the market at the moment how can anyone take us seriously.

i went all the way to youghal (want really that far as i live in cork) to watch them in a gig, it was quite good. but the point of the song "louis walsh is the spawn of satans minion bastrads children with no heads and a**es for faces" i think still stands

Your name change certainly hasnt curtailed your ability to blithely ignore incontravertible evidence and post the first thing that comes into your head :P

He has successfully managed and promoted 2 UK chartopping acts. That statistic alone beats Paul McGuinness and Col Tom Parker.

We all KNOW hes a twàt and that music in the Walsh World is an incidental part of the game, but you cant just sit there and declare that hes crap at what he does. Hes very very very good at what he does and thats what makes it all the more depressing. Knowing that at any time there is yet more pap to be produced and marketed.

Say what you like, but dont call the success of Boyzone, Westlife and Samantha Mumba Luck.

Eh, every piece of crap that comes out of his mouth is designed only to fuel his own publicity campaign and that of the groups he assembles. Who do you think pays £10k a go to get those carefully worded 'rants' into the tabloid newspapers in the first place?

Dustaz-I would regard a manager who has maybe a 20% or less decent success rate with his acts as being pretty crap.The truth is that he picks acts that should be succesful by right.Good looking girls,guys that the girls and the grannys will love,that kind of thing.But then he goes and fcuks it up by doing what looks like half arsed promotion.
People that with some advertising would be at number 1,but are left with their video getting a showing at 1am on some obscure sky music channel when most of the target market are in bed,How many times have you seen the lesser heard of groups appearing on shows like SMTV or the rest?
Six,as bad as they are,were destined for big things in the UK because the kids had heard of him because their tv series was shown on one of the kids tv shows.But he didnt even bother launching their single for whatever reason.Even Girls Aloud are the type of group that almost certainly wont be around in two years.He couldnt even sell out their tour for christ sake.

By my reckoning a man of 50 odd years who has been managing groups for much of his life who has had two acts so far that lasted more than half a decade at the top is pretty sh1te going.

Its actually quite a blessing that he is crap,as if he wasnt there would be alot more sh1te on the radio and tv:)

And what type of manager would have a new group appearing on national tv dressed like a group of painters and decorators?IMO it is purely luck that he has made it big-he has managed so many acts that some of them were bound to be picked up.
Im going to stop now as I am saying so much I will start to look like something of a closet fan of his work:)

6 are still around. i saw a poster for some concert about 2 weeks ago. you had the main act in big writing and then the supporting acts in not so big writing. at the bottom of the poster we see the name "six" with some other people i have never heard of in really small writing. i heard on the radio that they are releasing an album soon which will probably top the charts for a week
