I just got Sky digital this morning and I went to other channels, ITV is listed but I can't watch it, why?

Also, is there any free games available? I played a free game of Family Fortunes but thats all I can find.

What are the best channels on Digital that aren't on terrestrial? there are so many!

    Depends on your tastes

Sometimes Hallmark is good if they have a new miniseries
Granada Plus, UK Gold and UK Gold2 show best repeats.
    Paramout for US sitcom repeats
UK Drama for more specialised repeats
Sky1 pay money to get Simpsons and Enterprise etc before Beeb or RTE. They repeat a lot (Sky Rerun).

You can't get ITV on an Irish card.
    Read the board "Sky FAQ"

    Discovery etc for docu stuff

Home & Leasure for house & garden makeovers

    Biography and History for ....

When there was Analog Sky and only MTV and VH1 the POP vidfeo was good. Now there are loads and I never watch them, sometimes Performace and Classic FM TV

    TCM for old films

Amazingly you still get some good channels and you own the gear even if you cancel, so compared with Chorus/NTL you can't loose TV3 is very like ITV so it isn't like olden days of RTE1 and a few hours a day of NEt2

Probably missed this somewhere else but...if you got a card from a uk address would you get utv? Or do they beam a completly separate signal to Ireland?

Read the Sky digital FAQ thread!!!!

Only an NI card gives UTV at 103, the other cards give a different ITV at 103. With UK card all ITV works via other channels.

All of British Isles gets exactly the same signal. Except Dorset St in Dublin.
