Not sure if there is much merit to this thread, but does anyone remember that really crap Cola or Pepsi add on tv lately (may still be on tv). Beckham taking a penalty against real madrid. Now he's playing for them will they do a re-hash of the add?

I hate these ads with a passion.I dont know why but there is just something that really pisses me off about the likes of Nike and Pepsi dickriding anything to do with Man U,such as making atrocious pointless ads which all the united fans think is the best thing since,well,since the last time they were used.
Like the sh1t one a while back with the people running through the street and getting drenched by the backsplash of the united bus.The world cup one on the ship was vastly overrated I thought.And the pepsi world cup ones were even worse.
The only decent ones i ever remember were the 1998 ones where the Brazillians played football in the airport.

I like the Nike adds on MTV with 4 lads kicking a ball or a frisby or whatever around freestyle. The music is pretty good and it is not as in your face as the other sports adds where the only expense they seem to have gone to is to pay a bunch of overpaid morons to turn up. Ditto the Lucozade adds.

I liked the one that was aired before manure went and won the treble, where they're all getting a pepsi from the can machine, and roy keane(i think) throws around the pepsi cans to people, everybody grabbing theirs, then schmiceal (sp) shouts "give us a can!", Roy throws the can directly at him, it hits schmiceals hand, then flys over it, and hits the wall behind him. "..It was a joke! Honest lads!", classic

that was good. the Freestyle thing on interactive MTV was very good. the 4 guys featured could do some really mad **** with their footballs/basketballs
