Overclocking question

Is it possible to overclock without changing the fan. I have a p3 1Gz with an EKL FCPGA cooler 1gz. And I want to do my first overclock. I don't need to do a large overclock. If I only did a small one would I still need a cooler

u should be able to oc a tiny bit at the liest just watch the computer temps
