Tall Order-Vocalist and Bassist Required

    What I want to know is where have all the experienced musicians gone??
    Granted I had been off the gigging scene for nearly 4 years now but I have been back 6 months and still havent found a bass player or singer!!
    Or maybe we are asking too much?

    Basically myself and a guitarist have been trying to form an original band playing music influenced by Zep,Cream,Free,Hendrix,Lizzy and Taste.
    We have over 12 years experience each and have written about 25 songs in the past few months.

    We knew that getting a good strong singer( who sounds like he has just smoked 40 cigars) would be tough...
    Still no joy there....
    But where have all the John Paul Jones/Redding style bass players gone??


    Is it that no-one is influenced by the above bands anymore??
    I find that hard to believe!!

    Age is not important but we are in our late 20's.
