Actually most of Eximian's products are great...red-carpet is a very easy way to stay up-to-date with all the Microsoft-ish patches that seem to be around at the moment.

Tired it, was not impressed. Took 1/2 hour to open my mail box (first time fair enough, this was every time I started it) and couldn't really display the larger folders at all. cira 6000 messages made it fall over. Back to using netscape messenger 4.****ing.old.

That is odd....it works fine for me with large folders...and opens in under five seconds.

I have a 1.1Gb pentium IV PC, this may have a bearing on the speed.

I used to use KMail. This had a really nice feature which allowed you to forward email to a remote POP account in the Inbox Rules. Evolution wont allow this.

Weeeelll, I run it on 12 400Mhz 64bit processors with 12GB of memory so you suck :P

I do have to share it between 60 other users however, which makes it rather slower than you might think!

    ;)

    actually....I just upgraded to 1.4 from 1.2.2 and I wish I hadn't.

It is not as nice and is less stable.
