Wondering if anyone can help with setting up an one of these adapters (old Eircom I-stream device) in Redhat 9 , am struggling as a newbie to linux.

Is there any guide on the web thats newbie orientated that works with whatever version of Speedtouch eircom shipped with i-stream?

    Thanks.

Guy I know from college wrote this about getting that modem working with Debian. Should be fairly similar.

I just took the easy option and got an ethernet modem instead of a USB. You just plug it in and it works perfectly.
