Cut out junk food and feel drained!

    Hey,
    I'm a beginner with nutrition so go easy on me :).
    The last 2 weeks I have drastically changed my diet and have started training hard.
    My diet now is basically porridge and fruit in the morning.
    Vegetables with a it of meat for lunch and meat and veg for dinner could be any veg or meat. I would snack on fruit through out the day.
    I'm going to start eating more fish too. I'm starting to get a few spots on my face I presume it's the change in diet?

    I used to eat chocolate and bread everyday, however I'm starting to feel that their was something in either bread or chocolate that my body was looking for. The weight is falling off me which is good but I feel very drained especially in the evenings.
    I'm going out tomorrow to get some vitamins also What would you's recommend? And where to buy?
    Could I be deficit in something? Thanks

    My guess is less sugar. You shouldn't need to get vitamins. You'll just end up pissing it out.

    You might be overdoing your calorie deficit. Doing lots of exercise and drastically reducing your calorie intake will certainly tax your energy levels. There might also be an element of your body adapting to a life without a constant supply of sugar and easy carbs - that aspect of things will get better with time.

    You could try eating more healthy food, especially if the weight is "falling off" you after just two weeks. Don't overdo, your diet needs to be sustainable.

    Don't bother with vitamins - you're eating meat, fruit, and veg - you don't need them.

    It could be Ketosis but my guess is you're not eating enough to begin with.

    Try eating a few more calories in the day and don't be afraid of some carbs. Not saying return to the bread and chocolate. Maybe a plate of Sweet Potato with your lunch.

    OP, if you're adding fish to your diet, reach for the oily fish like salmon and mackerel.

    If you're really worried, start weighing and logging everything you eat on myfitnesspal, then you'll be able to see exactly how many calories and how much carbs, fat and protein you're getting.
