    Hi All

just wondering what peoples views are for best way to maintain / lose weight

for me personally I always count sat fat and dont over concern myself with the calories as much. like I would always look up the sat fat content first before I look up the calories

most of my friends would always look up the calories and dont know much about sat fat (how much per day, what amt is high / low etc)

just wondering what others do that works for them

I have been looking at the 5:2 diet and it appears interesting to try but I was wondering if it would have the same affect if I could reduced my sat fat by 3/4 instead of the calories?

Better here Bid08. Moved from the Ladies Lounge.

Sat fat is irrelevant in terms of weight loss. It's no different to other forms of fat in that regard.
And calories from fat are no different to calories from other sources.
