Help! I downloaded a trial version of AVG 9 to scan my computer. But now I cannot uninstall it. I've tried every variation in the uninstall process and it's still here. It keeps saying there is an error.

Questions: 1)has this happened to you? and 2) how do I unistall AVG because it is slowing my computer down to the speed of continental drift!!! Help me please!!!!

What operating system you using? If you are having problems like this and the uninstall doesn't work, you are probably better to reinstall AVG first and then uninstall.

If you can't uninstall it from add/remove progs, it may have an uninstall option from its location in c/programme files.

Thanks for the advice everybody. I went for the simplest option and removed AVG successfully with their own uninstaller. Special thanks to unnameduser for the suggestion. Computer is flying now.:D
