It can yeah - or at least you can turn off the channel list. On the top of the player window, there is like a magnifying glass with a + in it, to its left is a picture of a square within a square - this turns off (hides) the channel list.

Why would you want VLC? I love the way Sopcast stays in front of any other windows that are open so you can browse while you watch the match, brilliant idea.

Yea, my bad, i took it up as detach (and keep viewing) rather than detach and hide.

Sopcast is not working for me lately, dunno why. It keeps telling me 'cannot retrieve data.'

Anyone know where it might be possible to get archived streams of games? I'm looking for Espanyol vs Real Sociedad from the weekend... I can get a highlight reel of about 5 mins but was wondering do any websites archive streams of full games?

Theres a pile of reasons why that message may come up. Get it myself from time to time, worth reading this thread to get clues or even ask. Sometimes a channel may be scheduled to show the game but actually has pulled out of braodcasting it, or just your connection isnt strong enough at that particular moment, theres literally piles of reasons.

Out of curiosity, did you find this yourself on myp2p? I went on and couldn't find it... went to live sport>football>archive and the page was blank! Maybe you've to have membership?.................

For outright reliability sopcast beats veetle in my experience so il be watching on the same channel as i watched the games yesterday, and the same channel dublin gunner posted yesterday.
