    I have been squatting!!

Dont have a main goal!! i'm waiting for divine inspiration!!

If i get a 135 bench after sheiko then i'd half consider benching in the Single Lifts Sub 90.......Maybe!!

It wouldn't be a bad idea to compete, the singles comp won't be until next year so you'd have a good chance of going a lot heavier by then.
What do you like to do? We know you like to bench and like a lot of volume, what else do you like to do? Why did you start off training?

And on the squatting theme, 20 squats might be fun/killer.

Used to play a pile of rugby, hated the weight room but was always resonably big so didn't have to do that much. Was playing at a decent level stopped playing for 5 months got very fat!! went from training 4-5 times a week + matches to doing SFA!! Started lifting properly to try shift said fat, did so! went back to rugby, destroyed my neck! so now im just lifting for liftings sake!!

I will do 20reppers at some stage, got 20 with 90kg a few weeks ago but im not goin doing em again till im fairly confident that i'll get em with 110-120!!

IDFPA bench comp's on July 5th in Tullamore....

If you were prepared to gain a bit of weight, and actually stick to a program and not fcuk about with it, I'd recommend DoggCrapp. But my god if you do it and try to "improve" it I'll come down and kick your ass!!

Ah **** it i'd be off my head to try and get a decent bench paused between now and then, if i do anything it'll be the single lifts...

Ya i had considered DoogCrapp read up on it alot last year at some stage, you saw wicked gains off it didn't ya? was it just size and overall strength or did your big three improve??

Everything went up. 'cept cardio. That went down!!

Bench took a while to move cos I didn't bench for 3 months, got a lot stronger in all the relevant muscles tho, so once I spent 5-6 weeks training my actual bench again it went thru the roof.

Squat went from around 180x5 to 207x4, deadlift went from 215x5ish to 232.5x5 and bench after all was said and done went from 125x6ish I think to 135 x5, or 140 x4 if you prefer.

    i think i prefer 140 x 4!!

I dont think i'd stick to an all out powerlifting split, so DC might be the way to go..... i kinda judge how im doing by time spent under the bar, i cant stand going in doing 4 sets on a main lift and then assistance..

On the weight front, i'd say if i had kept squatting i'd be 100kg now easy its a funny one, im not sure how much more weight i can carry before im just a fat bastard!!

ahh... that is pants!! Ya could always do the whole slower movement style but that will get old pretty quick!!

DC could be a laugh... was doin that last year with out knowing. If ya like volume it is awesome. Always got a HUUUUGE pump from it... which lead to my sleeves "falling" off from my t-shirts in the gym! :)
