Check out my first bit of php!
    http://www.recessioncountdown.com

Its a countdown to the end of the recession where you can register and set the date when you think the recession will end. Then on the main page the average of everyones date (or everyone from a cerain country) is used to create a count down timer.

I used php and mysql database for all user log in data and to calculate average time, some javascript for the timer, all new to me so try it out and let me know what ya think!

I had the log in so users can then log in again later and update there estimate!
