    Bas knees are apparently dodgy but afaik hes been largely injury free the past while, rumour is remy has a heart problem and has "failed" 4 medicals to date. I imagine it was an insurance thing perhaps, maybe the club is wary after the doni incident.?

    Yup, failed a Stoke medical because of his knees before going to West Ham. Sometimes taking the risk works out, but for every Ba there's a Woodgate, Kewell, Hargreaves, Aurelio etc

    I'm worried we have lost the third best player in world football and 3 weeks till the start of the season we havnt replaced him.
    I despair if we sign bony he just does not suit our team.
    Gutted about remy, for the fee and his record it would have been a genius signing.
    Delighted with lovren hopefully he can get that back 4 organised.

    Either way is awful. Their stadium is half empty, the game is over as a contest long ago. Take a look in the bloody mirror sky ffs. I'm not sure if it's against soccer forum rules to abuse a TV channel, but I'm not going to risk it. The LFCtv thing I'm watching isn't the online version, so that's no good.

    I'm ecstatic at the prospect of Lovren and Sakho as our future CB's.

    Harsh on Skrtel, but I think the above two have a far higher ceiling, and can be absolute stalwarts at the back for us.
