    Hi All,

I need to replace the valves in a Fireball.

    This page has a list:
    http://www.thomann.de/ie/6l6_vacuum_tubes.html

There are two kinds of ENGL tube listed here - which should I go with?

And, if not the ENGL tubes, which ones would you guys recommend?

    Best wishes,

    Tony

I would have assumed any matched set of 6L6 would do the job, but the ENGL power valves are wider glass.

Check out www.eurotubes.com too for info.

Any 6L6/5881 type valve will do in the powerball.
I've personally used the JJ 6L6GC and found it solid.
I'm not a Eurotubes fan at all, the appear full of waffle and over-priced to me.
I've found that www.tube-town.net give the best pricing and service for valves.
