Another shocker ending!...on sooo many levels!, this is very balsy of the produers imo, twas a very sad episode as well, RJ was in tears for most no it, no humour at all in this ep. - it felt like a season finale of One Tree Hill, it was all drama and tears.

Totally different feel to the ep. compared to all the others, but the ending

. I think the writers were digging into personal homecoming experience on this one.

The ep. was totally out of line with the rest of the season, but i think it was a strong and kinda balsy finale...if the ending stays put. Wow the music was overpowering!...again OTH.

Love this show.

It's actually surprising at first just how adult the humor is. Like the semi-hentai scene in Episode 6.

Don't judge it by the fact it's set in an American High school, or the fact it's made by MTV or the fact that Richard loves it so much (lol, j/k) it's actually very well written and consistently funny.

^ well...i wouldn't say it's consistently funny....i think it's rather patchy, but for an MTV show i think it's has or would have a bit of bite, i just wish they showed it uncensored.
I guess the DVD will have that.

Love it !!!! But from watching online the bit at the end where they show a snip from the next ep always lies and makes the next one look more raunchy than it actually is. After a full season I have learned to love it and not believe the lies

Watched the 1st season in it's entirety last weekend with the girlfriend.. and enjoyed it!

Kinda like a slightly tamer version of 'The Inbetweeners' - the dynamic between the three leads sort of reminded me of these three in 'Mean Girls' for some reason.

Very very enjoyable series that really found it's feet as it went on. The finale was fantastic too!

Must be starting over here soon, as they seem to be advertising it quite heavily now too. Saw a couple of billboards for it in Dublin and saw a couple of ads for it on TV.

EDIT: Just checked.. and it's starting tonight on MTV at 10pm.

The MTV series The Hard Times of RJ Berger Season 2 will premiere immediately following the Jersey Shore Season 3 finale on March 24, MTV announced today (Thursday). Hard Times will premiere on a special day and time (11pm) to take advantage of what's expected to be a record Jersey Shore viewing audience. The series will move to its regular timeslot - Monday at 10pm ET/PT - beginning March 28.

Episode 3 was the best of them so far.. couple of good moments!

But I think the show works best when Jenny was with Max and the object of RJ's affections.

Humourous relationship drama is not entertaining in a gross-out juvenile (albeit witty) show like this.
