whenever I try on jackets or tops or shirts there, whatever fits me around the chest and shoulders will always be too short in length and look ridiculous.

I've found Topman to fit OK. Granted they're a little shorter than I'd like - they don't tuck into jeans well - but nothing to complain about. The hoodies are fine imo.

I actually love the fit of most of the clothes in topman, granted I'm on the skinnier side, and thats what most of the clothes seem to be aimed at, but then I do like my tops quite tight fitting.

The fit of Zara's clothing is excellent I think. Granted, the style's a lot different to that of Topman (i.e. more conservative) but it's deffo worth a look.

I think Topmans terrible if you're on the taller side, which I am tbh. I think the T-Shirt sleeves are far too short for example.

Their jeans and trousers are amazing but, couldn't say a bad word. And the TopMan trench coat I bought last winter will be hanging around for donkeys.

Oh well I find they fit really well! Then again I'm stick thin and they're one of the few male clothing shops which sell tops in XS or XXS. ;)

Topman clothes make me feel like I'm in a special k ad struggling to put on their clothes when stuff from other places supposedly the same size fits me grand

Topman clothes are just not made for a tall person at all. Sleeves on shirts are the worst and the length of the t-shirts are not great either.
I have one jacket from topman,it fits alright but only because it's a bigger sixe than what I would normally buy!

As long as they stock it in the size then I don't mind. I take a large with most things but in Topman I have to take XL for the extra length on shirts and t-shirts but as long as they have the size I don't really mind.

I like the tight fitted tshirts personally. Then again I am quite skinny and average height.

I like there sizes too just a shame about the styles.

Most styles this and lat year seem to work on tight fitting on a skinny body, I suppose have the problem is that a lot more people are turning big boned so won't fit their (topman sizes).

Well I'm 6'5" and I find the t shirts to be the best fitting for me. I'm broad on the shoulders and slim on the waist and I like having shorter sleeves on a t shirt. I regularly buy the XL plain (2 for €15) tees and replace them on an ongoing basis because in fairness, they do tend to shrink after 2 or 3 washes. But for so cheap its not so bad. The only problem I have is finding XLs. There's always loads of S, M, and L, but never XL.

Length wise isn't an issue either, in fact I got one recently (with a bottle top print on it) that I thought was slightly too long!

I also got jeans recently, bootcut, good fit and length and fine for "just hanging around" jeans.
