UCD can be intimating at first and I think the huge drop out rate from the first term tells you its own story but if you try to get involved in a society, a club, an election, the union any of these you'll make a network of friends and soon the place seems like a village - well that was my experience 9 years ago.

Pfft, people from D6 suck - they think they're approx. 1.5 times as good as D4 people.

Its not possible to be 1.5 times as good as something. It is possible to be 1.5 times better though, if that is what you mean.
