Does anyone remember the name of this 'Marvel' game for the Amiga?

Basic premise of the game was that the player would take control of a Marvel Superhero and battle 1 (or sometimes 2?) Supervillians per screen and after defeating the opponent would proceed onwards ad nauseum as your hero would battle practically every major marvel villian that existed at the time.

It was 2d with side-on view and had no scrolling (if I can remember?). Sprites looked good (big, bright and colourful) but the game itself was a junker to play. I definetly remember that one could play as 'captain america' but I think there was many different superheros one could play as.

Again this wasn't a game licenced off any one particular superhero, it seemed to want to just be about the 'marvel' universe and characters itself.

    Year: Prob around 1991
Platform: Amiga (tho it might have been on C64 too?)

Anyway, sorry I don't have any better descriptions and thanks!

Thanks for that mayordenis! Now how come I couldn't remember a nice concise title like that? :)

    Yeah. That's the one.

It was pretty horrible. But had nice big graphics.

The worst thing was that some rooms just had big holes that moved across the floor and required pixel perfect jumping to get past. And those big chunky sprites weren't the most responsive fellas...

Actually, I'm just remembering a Spider-man game that was on the C64. It had really tiny sprites, maybe the size of 2 lemmings, but it was very good as you could swing around like a mad thing... Mysterio was the main villian in it.

    EDIT:

Ah, found it.. that mobygames site is great...

Dear god...I actually owned this game! I've only fond memories of playing it. You started of as captain America for the first couple of "levels" or two before switching to Spiderman. It was a beat'em'up were you went up against Loki and a few other charactors but mostly the stupid robots you can see in the screenshots
