    1) Jet-skis
Whatever it is about jet-skis, it seems to attract peepswho have no consideration for anybody else. Boy Racers on Water.
    2) Kids who come up, and then say "mister, you don't have a cigarette, do ya"
    3) A few weeks a go, I was fishing near St Helens (bing Bay) hoping for bass amongs the rocks at the end of the bay..
A family came down from the cliff and stood beside me saying nothing..
In the end I turned to them and said "You want to swim here?"
One of them said "yes", so I packed up my stuff and moved down (Not much fun with two rods, rod rest, tackle box etc.)
They then went for a dip for about 10 -15 mins.

Bing Bay is about a mile long!! I think they came from the holiday homes above and regarded it as their "private" spot! grr
I mean it was as deserted as the pic below -(The Coombe near Carnesore Pt last August Bank Holiday weekend!!)

    4) Other anglers who don't clean up after themselves!
Make no mistake about it, the "antis" will turn their attention to fishing in Ireland.. untidiness doesn't help the public perception of us-bring your rubbish home

Jet-skis are the biggest annoyance by far.If they stayed well offshore it would be fine but most of the time they insist on staying as close as they possibly can.

The only other pet hate i have are mackerel bashers. No mattrer where u go on a beach they surround you as soon as they see a shoal. Then they cross your line, apologise and do the same thing five minutes later. Most of the time you can't give out to them because they're only about 12 yrs old.

dogs.. they steal your sandwiches, urinate on your backpack, pounce on your fish in the shallows, and too often end up getting hooked. :(

a family of travellers with dogs, same as above added to a dozen kids asking you for fish hooks and weights (and telling you about the shark they caught on the beach the night before).
