Ok excuse my ignorance regarding this but I was hoping to book my parents a weekend away at some hotel down the country as a Christmas present. Basically though I have no credit card and was wondering how I would go about doing this. Can I pay through a travel agents or what? Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

Sending a cheque is often acceptable....or ask them if you could transfer money to their account

If you don't have a credit card I'm guessing you don't have a cheque book. Either get a relation to write one for you or get a postal order I guess?

are you dealing with the hotel direct? perhaps if you explain it to them they will give you an account number anc sort code and you could get the money transfered to their account via your bank?
