220 thread count versus 300 thread count for a bed sheet?

Unsure if it makes a significant difference? Bought a 220 count sheet in Dunnes, but they have 300 count available online. Which would you go for? 220 was 22 euro, 300 was 30 euro. Is it worth the additional remuneration?

Higher thread count just feels heavier and more premium. Probably will last a bit longer too.
