Yes I have done that and when I log in to Audi Connect and go to emails and text messages it just says that no account is set up but it doeskin seem to give the option of doing this.

Sorry - haven't had an Audi for a while now so been ages since I've messed around with the MMI system.

Text's just worked from memory - phone connected by just Bluetooth would ask you on the phone if you wanted to grant access to the car to read the texts, but I don't remember every trying to set e-mail up.

I have set e-mail up on a couple of BMW's and if the Audi's are the same, it just isn't worth it. Can't read more than 1 line of an incoming mail while moving and replying via the iDrive controller isn't worth the effort. Bad enough putting the e-mail address and password in using it, and it's a fairly short e-mail address.
