Hi all just wondering could anyone help me please with my Under floor heating .
It’s a 2 year old newly built house and the UFH is not working in two of the rooms . The red valves (flow meter valves) are down for these two rooms so that appears to be the problem . Iv tried turning them but the red indicator does not move .
    Any ideas anyone ?

Iv attached photo of the manifold layout . It’s the 3 and 4th
Valve in that is at zero and these are the rooms that have no heat . The white pipes above the 3 and 4th valve are also a lot colder than the other valves that are working . Does anyone know the make of my system as I didn’t get an instruction book with the system . I have tried turning the valves but nothing happened and the red indicator stays in the same position . Any ideas on what is wrong greatly appreciated

Are each of the rooms zoned? Are the actuators for those rooms opening?
I am only vaguely familiar with some of the most modern plumbing methods so someone else might have better advice.

Yes all zoned . Haven’t a clue about system myself as it was never explained to me . But I know the room is constantly cold and is constantly drawing from m the boiler yet no heat output .

You need to check if the thermostat is calling for heat and that the actuator and circulation pump is responding to that call. You might need someone to throw their eyes on it.

The 3rd and 4th actuators are closed, there could be a number of different reasons for this.
The easiest solution to get heat into these circuits is to remove both of the white heads from the valves by pressing the button on the front of the actuator and lifting it off (number them beforehand, so you know which one is from which valve) .
You won't be able to control the temperature in these rooms until you figure out why the actuator s aren't opening, but at least the rooms won't be freezing. Just pop the heads back on when the room is getting warm.
Once any of the other ufh rooms are calling for heat you will get heat into the circuit that isn't working.

As above the actuator heads are closed so you will not have flow in these two circuits.
    What thermostats are you using?
The thermostat is what should open the corresponding actuator.

It is an Oventrop UFH manifold

Thanks for coming back to me folks . It’s a heatmeiser thermostat on the wall in the room . I’m ringing installer in the morning , what reasons would there be for the actuator closing like this ? I have the system installed two years I would have thought problems like this should not be occurring on such a new system ? Thanks again

Can you post a close-up picture of the thermostat concerned with one of the non-working zones?

It is always closed, it needs power to open.
Either thermostat, wiring or actuator faulty.
