Eflow issue

    hey guys

    wondering if you could help. My father in law doesn't have a eflow account and he pays his tolls down in the shop before the deadline. everytime he goes through the toll he has to get into a song and dance with eflow who start sending him out letters over his unpaid tolls which where paid. he disputes and eventually it gets resolved as they find the payment.

    Now he has a court letter and this point he is so annoyed that he plans on going to court if they ask and show his receipts. He is tired of them.

    I signed up for an account with them because i was tired of calling everytime i paid a toll and they didn't see it against my reg. that was 8 years ago and their system seem to not be sorted.

    bottom line, this causes my father in law a lot of stress and he wants to report them or get advise on what they are doing, in other words why are their systems reporting him as unpaid when he has paid. Who would he talk to?

    If he doesn't want to go to court, he could contact the Consumer Association of Ireland.

    If he wants to go to court, it is likely to cost him money, whether or not legal costs are awarded to him, ultimately. Therefore, perhaps he should consider whether he really wishes to pursue this route, despite the continuing frustration. In any event, if he wants to defend matters in court, he should speak to a solicitor. It is important that all appropriate steps are taken to minimize the risk of legal costs being awarded against him. For that reason, he should speak to a solicitor.
