    Hi,
Is it possible that someone who started working with HSE as NCHD in 2014 signed the 2010 NCHD contract? Because according to 2010 contract there is Living out allowance €55.08 per week but I heard new entrants are not being paid this allowance.
I was getting this allowance until my last rotation but i am working for another hospital now and the HR told me the previous hospital was not supposed to pay me this and now they are not going to pay me this allowance. I told them I have not signed any new contract and I should get the allowances like before..The HR said they will see with manager, etc. :(

Think yot got your answer on the Facebook group ;)

You shouldn't have received the allowance from your first job, the government unilaterally cut the Living Out Allowance for those new entrant doctors working in the public sector from January 2012. Not sure if it was chopped for the rest since.
