How to save feathers on headpiece?

Hi I have a very unusual feather headpiece. Unfortunately due to it being stored in a room that had damp the feathers have started to fall off. I'm hoping now it's in warm surroundings in my house that this will stop. It's still losing feathers!. Is there anything you can apply to feathers or something I can do to stop…
