Am looking for advice on the commute from Enfield to Dublin. Firstly by car to around smithfield area, how long does it take roughly.

Secondly on the train or bus? How do people find it?

What time do you have to be in at? Car times vary from day to day and at what time you leave at.

Train timetable up on IrishRail and is fine (expensive though) for the most part, but I find it can have a few days of being very unreliable in a row, every so often.

I switched to Kearns Coaches a good few years ago and can't fault them at all. They have buses every 15mins into town in the mornings, and basically the same back home in the evenings. 07:30 bus would have you in Smithfield in time for a 08:30 start.
