    VAT number check

      I recently made an online purchase for goods in France and there was a space on the form for me to enter my VAT number to avail of VAT exemption. However, I got an email back from the company to say that my VAT number is not coming up as verified on this site.http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/vatRequest.html

      i have tried my VAT number on another site and it's not coming up as registered either.
