Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's impossible to be a loner. You'll be there 3/4 years. You're literally guaranteed to make at least one friend. :)

You'll be fine. It's very easy to make friends. A lot of folks are in the same boat as you when they start.

Join a club and/or society too for added effect.

    *cough* ultimate frisbee club *cough*

During the orientation yoke, sit down beside some who's on their one too and start chatting, they're in the same boat as yourself more than likely and will be glad for the chat.

There's a bit of info from an old thread here I think http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056690504

There are also places around there you can rent cheap enough to. All the info should be in the three pages (don't know much myself as I live in Dublin)
