Ok, firstly its a sample paper so I doubt that this stuff could really come up,

Q13.(a) Find the slope of each line, use the rise over the run method, i.e for slope j it is is -2/-2=-1. The slope is negative due to its direction.

    (b) From the fact that this is the equation of the line you can see the slope of the line once you figure this out it can be seen they are not parallel or perpendicular.

Q14.(a)Its (a) and(d) as tan of theta is y over x and sin of theta is y over z. As is said in the equations given, however equation (b) says that cos of theta is equal to z over x which is not true.

Q15. This is a ridiculous question which basically asks you to make up your own values to find the height of the church. Basically the church is the opposite in the triangle an imaginary line down to where the students on the ground are standing is the hypotenuse. and the distance from the students to the church is the adjacent make up an angle and then find the opposite.

I hope this helps don't worry to much about these confusing questions, they aren't that accurate they are only sample questions. But then on the other hand the SEC are crazy but we are all in the same boat. Good luck:D

Thank you! That helps! Hopefully that last question doesn't come up!
