That company is a joke. Do not go near them.

You would build a pc with more than twice that power from hardwareversand.

What a joke €931 for a pc that would barely run minecraft.

Fill this in and we can help you get the most from your money.

    1. What is your budget? [€xxx]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Video editing/3D Modelling/HTPC/Internet] (If gaming include which games)

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes/No]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive/DVD Drive/Case/PSU/etc.] (If possible state brand and model of the parts to ensure compatibility)

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes/No]

5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.]

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080/1440x900/etc.] [Yes/No]

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.]

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes/No]

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

    9. When are you purchasing? [In x days]

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [South Dublin City/Cork City/Kerry/etc.]

Pretty crap value for money to be honest. What is it you want to do with it? If it's gaming, the PC is pretty much useless. Fill this out and we can definitely help you build something twice as fast for the same money.

    NOPE.

Poor build for the price, unspecified PSU (probably crap), unspecified motherboard, horrible graphics card.

Not to mention the bad experiences some posters have had with them. (The website)

Post up your budget and your needs and we'll spec a build that would crush this build performance wise for the same price.

    Dat cross post :P

Hardwareeversand does look good but someone was saying they only do bank transfers?

One of the lads will spec you a build much better than the one you linked above. Shockingly poor value for nearly a grand!

Re bank transfers and Hardwareversand, its actually really easy, don't let it put you off. just pop into the bank and fill out a form. You may even be able to do it online. They offer great prices and will even assemble the PC for €20 if required. But try do it yourself if you can, it's part of the experience!

Still comes out cheaper than the custompc build but would hammer it in performance and it has good overclocking potential.

The cpu has about the same performance as the custompc once overclocked but nearly everything else in this system is miles better.

If you wanted to save money you could get a cheaper case, speakers and drop the cpu cooler.

They are by far the best speakers and cases as far as price/features/performance goes though imo.

The case comes in silver or white as well.

Essentially every component is better here. Very nice speakers, too.

Hey i love that set up, but could you select a lighter CPU fan as that one is too heaver and the company won't install it for me. (Yes i will be getting them to set it up for the extra €20)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,299 ✭✭✭✭BloodBath

You should install it yourself. It's really not hard and there are video guides on youtube.

That's already a smallish cooler. If you aren't going to use it then just use the stock cooler that comes the cpu.

You won't be getting decent overclocks with it though and it will be reasonably noisey.

That cooler looks daunting but once you sit down and look at its grand to install. Its quiet too.
