D7000 Query

    Hi all,
Ive upgraded to a D7000 and I'm slowly getting my head around the features. It was pre-owned and had the settings matched to the previous owner when I got it.

When I took a test shot, it let me hit the scroll left and right button and the preview screen emphasised 2 or 3 different versions of the same photo - one with the object closest in focus, one with the furthest object in focus.

Since I reset the camera, I can't see this anymore and to be honest Im not sure where I'd use it but I'm curious as to what it was?

Maybe some sort of autofocus bracketing?

    Thanks!
