Sky Sports news, ITV 2/3/4 and a fair few more are now either blank or saying loss of signal. Only happening in past week or so. Any ideas?

I used to work for them, the standard procedure was the old trusty 'plug the box out entirely for 1 minute then plug back in again' You'd be surprised how often it worked :) If this doesn't work, you will need to ring customer service, hold on the line for 45 minutes while listening to an ever infuriating rendition of Vivaldis Four Seasons on repeat and then hopefully, if and when you finally get to speak to a human being, they will be able to remotely send a booster signal to your box. And if all the above fails, an appointment will be made for a techie to call out and take a look.

You will book time off work and the techie will not show. You will ring customer service and hold for 45 minutes again, becoming more irate. Agent will then tell you that the techie called and there was nobody home, even though you've been sitting on the floor in your hallway all day bursting to go for a p1ss but afraid to go to the bathroom in case you miss him calling. Agent will make another appointment. You will book another day of annual leave off. Techie will show up, scratch his arse, drink tea, look at the digibox and throw his eyes to heaven saying 'whoever installed this for ya is a bleeeeding cowboy'. He will then proceed to drill unnecessary holes all over your wall, knocking half your ornaments off the mantelpiece in the process. After 2 hours of banging about, he will tell you that he has installed a new software update in the box and that it will take up to an hour to initialise. He then high tails it out the door leaving your living room look like a carpenters workshop. You sit in front of the tv expectantly, waiting for the blue screen to come to life. And wait. And wait...... After 3 hours you realise you've been had. You get on the phone again. Headache mounts...... Four Seasons.....

    I'm glad I don't work there anymore :D

Unplugging and plugging back in usually works, does some sort of reset.
If not give them a call, their customer service is fine, nothing like made out above, they can send a boost down the line.

Worth a try doing a automatic channel search first. Might bring them back and save you a call.

Already unplugged and also have allowed automatic scan to retune them. No difference made at all.

    Channel 4 is missing tonight.

Anyone else got the same problem?

Have turned everything off, but still no joy.

do a factory reset , if that doesn`t do the trick phone upc as issue is either with stb or signal coming in.
