Sky Network Connection forever failing

    I have 50MB broadband and have it connected to my SKY Box with an Ethernet cable. Multiple times per day I have to unplug and replug in my SKY box as it loses the connection. I just get the old SKY anytime but when I reboot I get full OnDemand again.

    Is this just because the service is buggy or is it a router setting or something else?

    it could be to do with the ip address in the sky box, can you set it to fixed, then on your router assign that ip to the sky box. Its quite possible DHCP is switched on and it may keep assigning the ip at intervals.

    what is the make of the router?
