Is it possible to retrofit an on board computer to a audi a3 ?

    Just got an a3, thing is it doesn't have the full on board computer display for the mpg , temperature ect, ect, I had it on my golf and the dash seems kinda empty

    The one in the dash between the speedo and tachometer or in the centre console i.e. Radio?

    Yes it is. You need a new dial pod, but it can be done.

    All is possible but depending on what is required, it might not be worthwhile.
    I have a feeling that it might only be fitting of the higher spec display and some coding but I'm open to correction.

    Yip, it just displays any warning lights that might be needed at the moment, nothin essential but as I said, dash looks a bit empty

    What year is the car?

    You'll more than likely have to get it done by someone with full diagnostics

    "You'd need cluster (red or white), new wiper stalk, possibly new steering cu & slip ring, mileage correction as you wont buy new thats for sure & then everything coded in with immo & steering systems."

    PS if you do decide to get it done, ask how much extra to get the cruise control done at the same time as its pretty much all the same work. i.e. all the same bits will be off fitting the stalks and programming system.

    already have the cruise control, seen on a few sites like adverts, places that do the CC installations, might check them out to see if they do the retrofit
    of the display
