    Hi,

    Can anyone give me some advice on diving lessons/classes. I'd really like to learn how to dive from the edge of the pool into the water and then maybe a little higher in the future. The leisure centre I was going to for the occasional swim forbids diving (I think this is common?) so I wasn't going to try and self-teach.

    It is something I never really mastered when I learned to swim as a kid and would like to be able to do it.

    Could I just book the average swim instructor for a private lesson or would it be not allowed in certain pools?
