Got a pretty much brand new Bagster 21 tank bag with my bike and have never used it. Took it out last night to soften the leather as I was planning on using it and most of the zips are broken :mad: I cant even hook a paper clip in as the loop mounted on the zip is gone. So they need to be replaced!!

I cant justify buying a new bag cos that one is pretty much new.

Anyone know anywhere that would replace the zips . . . Our is any of you on here secretly fantastic at alterations.

    Thanks:D

Are the zips broken or are the zip tags missing? I cant figure out whats broken from what you say.

I've had repairs done in various places depending on whats required, but most places that do garment alterations should be able to help, if not try somewhere that does shoes and leatherwork. (dunno where you are based)

The loop that holds the Zip tag onto the zip is gone. (Hope that makes sense).

Will try a a place that does alterations and see what sort of money they are.

If you have any lanyards around take the metal piece off and that should hook around through the small hole, that's what I had to do with both my leathers and my cordura pants, works a treat.
