    Hey all,

Thinking about buying a 1.6 diesel Ford Focus Style. There's about 25k miles on it. Seems in pretty good condition. Don't know all that much about the Focus though, been driving an Astra for years. Is this a good reliable car? I need something thats capable of doing about 1,000km a week.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

Focus diesel have stood the test of time and with regular servicing should deliver. Note that the style is the low spec model and lots of uk ones are for sale . The zetec is a much better spec... if you are into that stuff :D

Not the 2011 Style model. It was a run out model and Ford fitted alot of kit in them. They were better value than the Zetec at the time.

They need to be serviced religiously every 20,000 km or year, whichever is the sooner, and they need to use the proper oil, or else you will pay the price. Apart from that, they're a great car and won't leave you don't so long as you service it when you're supposed to (as you should do with ALL makes and models of cars;)).
