Oak saplings from Brittany

I'd like to bring a few (less than a dozen) oak saplings from Brittany.
Do regulations permit this? Could there be a realistic danger of some bio hazard from the plant or any soil?

I could try to move them unplanted/bare roots or use shop compost. Unfortunately they're likely to be moved in July or August.

(Why? Sentimental reasons. Also: I'll save them from the farmer's strimmer, the oaks in Brittany are superb trees, in Cork the oaks seem few in number and many poor stunted specimens )
