    Hi,
Just to ask a quick question. Has anyone else had a mildish flu like dose without a fever for a couple of weeks or more. I'm hearing anecdotal stuff that its 'about', but I'm experiencing it right now... It sucks :( Anybody else suffering?

A bad chest/head cold for three weeks and counting now, definitely not a flu though. A flu would have me well thrown.

Same here, chesty/throat infection for about 3 weeks, then picked up a cold to boot just the other day. Know a few other people in the same boat, one of whom went on to develop a fairly nasty bronchitis.

Into my 3rd week of a cough at this stage. Bit of a head cold too.

Ditto 4 weeks into a mild cough/runny nose etc.

    "mildish flu like dose"?
Doesn't exist. If it's mild it's not the flu. If it's flu like, it's not mild.

Also, there's always something "about". It's commoner in winter, fair enough, but there's alway people coming into pharmacies asking for something for "that cold that's doing the rounds" as if there was one medicine for Cold A, and a different one for Cold B etc.

more remarking on the length of time really.
