How do I access the new UCC portal system?

Hey guys can't seem to log into the new system. The given password doesn't seem to work for me. Anybody experiencing similar difficulties?

To sign in you need your student no: 1090.....
then your password is: Ucc*xxxx

xxxx represents your old password.
So if ur old password was 3467
you put that in instead of the x's

Mine worked grand Ucc*xxxx where the x's was my original password - make sure to include the star!

What do people think of it? looks good, some interesting features!

It's not perfect, few seems to have a few problems with Chrome, but nothing refreshing won't fix. One thing I really like that I don't think was in the old one is the link to the calendar. Probably won't make a major difference to most people, but it's a nice touch. The word of the day hasn't changed since yesterday though, might want to get them on that!

Kind of annoying that you still need to login separately for the library services. I mean, isn't this meant to be a single sign on? Still, a minor gripe. It seems a little more user friendly than the previous version.

tbh i find it a bit pointless, the only things that work with the single sign on are the student administration, umail and the print account. Don't know about the rest of you guys but I rarely use the student administration and have almost never checked my print account.
Also i don't like the fact i cant use umail on my iPhone 3g as it seems to crash safari on ios <= 4.2.1

Username: Your Student Number
Password: Ucc*1234

1234 stands for your pin the original four digit pin you were given when a registered student. Same applies to your Umail.

I also had trouble but okay now. I went through via 'forgot your password' though :cool:

Also, was not able to login using the computers in Brookfield Health Sciences library when I wanted to view the library catalogue. Anybody else have problems there? I haven't tried main campus library yet though. I can't get back with work and it closes too early at the moment.
