Hi peeps, I'm new to the forum, I have reading on here this past week or so. Looks like a great forum with some very useful info :).

I'm a massive WWE fan and nearly went to Mania last minute as a UK seller had some decent tickets available on ebay a few days before the event. Didn't in the end as I want to do it right..ie through a package.

I'm definetly going to WM28, hopefully going Platinum. I've emailed the wwepackage address to register my interest so hopefully like all of you I'll be successful. However failing that..

How would I be able to do it step by step? Getting Mania tickets shouldn't be too difficult but getting Axxess tickets, HOF, Raw tickets the next night etc? Would be, right?

Could someone point me in the right direction please :) as I want to have a back up as I can see the packages being harder to get this year with the Rock actually returning to the ring also any other info regarding mania would be useful aswell :)

    Thanks alot :D
    Rich

    First off, welcome!

Secondly, you're really only asking 1 question there.
If packages fail, which shouldn't because it's an easy process you just gotta be quick at, you alternative is Ticketmaster.com, everything goes on sale through there. Mania tix go on sale in November, followed shortly by the rest of the events. This way you buy your tix, but collect them at the event locations.

So basically the only back up you need is ticketmaster.

    Any other questions, just ask.

My two mania visits I booked it all seperately through ticketmaster, its less hassle than the pacakges imo, or at least it was back in the days of faxing in orders and all that guff. Might be easier these days, but if life has taught me anything its if you want reassurance something is done then do it yourself, plus you at least know where you're sitting from the beginning rather than finding out months later.

I got HOF, Mania and RAW tickets, all great seats through ticketmaster, long as you know the onsale times or get a presale code you're laughing (its simple to get them, all over the net the morning of the sales)

ah now I want to go back to Mania :(

Thanks for the replies, sounds like Ticketmaster could be the way to go then :).

Krudler when I said do it right, I meant because I'm a newbie just thought it would be easier to do it through a package, like you said it does concern me you have to wait until a month before Mania to know where you'll be sitting...surely WWE could inform you instantly or there abouts :s.

Ticketmaster does sound very good, how much would you realistically be saving doing it all seperately? Compared to a platinum package.

That all depends on the hotel you book if you do end up doing everything seperate. You figure that all the tickets for all the events for that weekend will have a set low and a set high. The hotel is the difference. A Platinum Package will put you in a very nice hotel that may normally run you $200-300+ per night. But again thats already taken care of via the package.

Now if you do things seperately and the hotel part of your trip isn't all that important to you, then you could find some as cheap as $70-80 per night. Flights are your responsibility no matter which route you choose.

I guess to further help you out I'll lay out WM27 for me this year...

Double Occupancy Silver Package - $850/person

Breaking it down, I called the Atlanta Marriott Marquis before hand and the rates for a standard room that weekend was $240 x 4 nights = $960. Already thats more than I paid for my package.

    2 Axxess tic -$39/ea
    HoF tic - $79
    WM27 tic - $108
    Raw tic - $64

For a total of $1289. For me the packages are simpler, but to each his own. Hope I've helped :)

Thanks for that, you've definetly been helpful Capo :)...very useful information also gives me an idea of price if I do have to go down the seperate route if I'm unsuccessful getting a package. The silver package does seem quite good to be honest, good value for money.

Best thing I can tell you is to save NOW. That way come that day the packages go on sale your ready. Packages will probably go faster this year because of The Rock's involvement and because Mania is in a very popular vacation destination such as MIA. Me, as i said paid 850 this year with one person goin w/ me so this year i expect to kick out atleast another 150-250 for same 2 person package.

people don't need to really worry about packages even if packages are sold out u can still get great seats via tm,i never booked a travel package but i will this year

anyway def save now because if u do it last min it just kills to see all the money go that fast, for me personally lol.

Don't worry I'm all saved up for this ;), just prefer the ideal of a package as it's all taken care of.

One more question though...what are my chances of meeting John Cena at Mania 28? I assume you meet every Superstar/Diva through the packages?

No not all. Though at Axxess it's possible to meet a good amount of people. Also there is a special autograph session on saturday morning for package holders. All 3 packages have a different superstar. For all the talent that appeared at Axxess this year including the VIP sessions (John Cena was one of them) check out the Axxess thread.
